This week my sleep was a little restless, because of my final and prom. I hope that next week is better. My nutrition and hydration this week has been very well. I'm always saying no to sugary foods and always drinking water. It feels really good to say no. And not only does it feel good, but it makes me look good. This weeks pictures are really different than my pictures from week 1. I look more defined everywhere, I'm more slim and I feel great and am very pleased with my body. Mentally,  feel more on the ball and more motivated towards learning new information. This week we had fitness testing and I was a little shocked that I only beat my scores by a few reps. And on the sit and reach I actually became less flexible, which is strange. That means that I am gonna go extra hard on the final and crush my score.

I am caught up on sleep since the keystones happened, so I would say my sleeping pattern improved. I have stayed hydrated all week still drinking mostly water and orange juice. My nutrition has improved as well. My ability to turn down sugary sweet snacks has greatly improved. I did eat a slice of cake at my work, because I was slowing down and I needed the energy boost. But besides that I've been doing very well. Mentally I feel that I am more focused all-around and physically I am seeing massive improvements. My nightly workouts combined with strength training and eating better, have produced a more muscular and distinguished body everywhere. I tried my best on the Final Farewell workout and impressed myself with my endurance and my score. I'm looking forward to the fitness testing and the final to see how much I improved.

My sleep this week has been about the same. I'm still having dreams most nights and constantly waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.I have been eating healthier, I even went out and bought my own food to put in my lunch. I've been better at resisting unhealthy food. And my hydration continues to be great with only water and orange juice. I'm looking more and more forward to the workouts, because I'm going to the beach next weekend and I'm trying to get in the best shape possible until then. I've also been continuing to do my 100 sit-ups every night and I've already cut my time in half from my first time.

My sleep this week was great. Minus getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I had at least one good dream every night this week. I have stayed hydrated all this week on just water and orange juice as usual. And I feel like my good eating habits have been slightly dropping lately, but I hope its just a phase and that it ends soon. I used to pack trail mix in my lunches and now I substitute the granola for a healthier granola. I've been substituting a lot of foods lately for healthier alternatives. On Tuesday we did the Surrender workout and on Monday my friend told me that it was the hardest yet. So, on Tuesday I walked in telling myself that I was gonna push myself to new limits. I really impressed myself when I completed 29 rounds. I need to thank Dave for keeping me motivated. But I was ridiculously sore Wednesday night and Thursday wasn't much better. Today I'm still a little sore, but I'm sure I will be 100% recovered tomorrow.

My sleep this week was about the same as last week. Still waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I also had a lot of dreams. My hydration continues to be excellent just drinking lots of water and a glass of orange juice everyday. My nutrition food wise was good as well. I had a slice of apple pie my mom made, that contained "fake" sugar. It tasted good but if its "fake" I'd imagine it still isn't too good for you. I've also been eating spinach and asparagus because they are good for you even though i'm not a huge fan of the taste. The only new physical changes I've noticed this week is my abs. I started doing 100 sit-ups every night to help with their definition. Mentally I haven't noticed any changes, except that I am understanding things a lot easier in chemistry. This week I was still impressed by me keeping up with Frank, that I've been looking forward to the workouts even more. My friend and I tied on Variety Pack as well, which is an improvement.

My sleep this week has been better as in I'm less frequently waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. My hydration has stayed about the same as well, I am still on my water only streak. I can't remember the last time I drank something that wasn't water. My eating habits have stayed about the same as well. I'm turning down opportunities to eat sweets. Today, at lunch my friend brought in a huge brownie from Panera Bread and shared with everyone at my table. When he got to me I said, "No thank you." He kept asking why and I kept telling him I was eating healthy. My table argued that one little piece of brownie won't effect me and they think I am taking eating healthy too far. The argument lasted about 5 minutes, but my one friend actually got really frustrated and it was kind of funny. I have been noticing physical changes since last week. In my picture this week I can see an outline of my abs and I can proud that I reached 150 pounds. I can definitely see it showing in muscle on my body. My mental changes haven't really changed much either. I'm still doing well in school and I didn't fall asleep once in class this week. Workouts have crossed my mind this week. My friend and I are starting to plan to days to do workouts over to try and beat out scores. I'm looking forward to that and I heard the workouts this coming week are "fun."

My sleep this week was about the same than last week. I'm still waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, which is annoying but I know it's worth it. My nutrition stayed about the same as well, I've been eating more healthy foods. Every morning I have strength training I eat 3 eggs, toast, sausage, a hash brown and a tall glass of orange juice. This morning I mixed broccoli into my eggs. My hydration has still been strictly water, however, I feel like I've been drinking less water than I did last week. My physical changes continue to get noticed daily. My shirts have been getting too small and I even had to get rid of a pair of jeans. My arms, chest, legs, and abs feel and look bigger. I'm noticing my strength a lot more often too. I don't know whether or not to be happy or disappointed, because I lost 3 pounds since last week and my body fat percentage dropped, which is good. I'm still a little tired in class but I haven't fallen asleep in class recently. I'm gonna try and go to sleep even earlier this week. My grades are steady and  have been asking more questions in my classes so that I better understand the topic. My good friend, Trace, is in the 3rd block A day strength training class and we are constantly competing on the workouts, which is a huge motivator. Also I feel like the Triple Bleacher Creature was a huge endurance test for me since running is not my thing. I hope we get to do it again.

This past week I have continued to wake up about 50% of the time in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, other than that there was little change. My hydration has stayed about the same as well for the most part and I have been eating higher quality meats. The company is called Boar's Head. It tastes significantly better than the Giant brand meats. I have stopped eating french fries at my work and am even starting to decline the extra desserts from the meal. I've been eating more fruits and vegetables than ever. My  mom is shocked at how fast they go. I noticed a small amount of increase in my physical change but its still a positive change. I gained 2 pounds since last week and that got me really excited, because I'm gaining weight after 3 years of the constant weight. Mentally, I have been more exhausted it seems. I am drowsy by 4th block. So this next week I am gonna go to bed 30 minutes earlier and see if that eliminates my drowsiness. I was excited about doing the triple bleacher creature once I heard about it, because I remembered when I did the double in PE 2 last year. I ended up crushing my score and impressing myself mentally. My strength has improved a lot recently too. Sometimes when I hug my girlfriend I actually hurt her, because I hug too hard. I just apologize and laugh. I also challenged myself by doing 100 burpees for time. I did them all in 8 minutes and 16 seconds. I plan on trying to beat that score this week.

I have been waking up often in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, its annoying but I guess that's just a con to being healthy. My hydration has improved. Outside of school I've been drinking more, which is why I have been waking up in the middle of the night. My nutrition has gotten a little better. I started packing my lunch. I always have a sandwich full of good meats and mustard instead of mayo, a water bottle, fruit, and two vegetables. I talked to my girlfriend about giving me candy as gifts and we decided to cut that out, so I hopefully won't have to worry about candy anymore. I've seen more physical change in my shoulders, arms, abs, and legs. A few of my jeans and shirts are getting tighter, forcing me to get rid of them. My grades are becoming more stable and I know longer have to worry about one bad grade. I felt really accomplished after doing the Triple Threat workout. I was sore the next day and it felt awesome. I had great teammates and we all pushed ourselves to reach our goal.

This week I haven't noticed any changes in my sleep patterns, except that some mornings I wake up with a headache but now they are occurring less frequently. My hydration has been excellent this week. I've drank nothing but water and orange juice. The only down side to drinking as much water as I do is that I need to use the bathroom more than usual. My nutrition is improving also. With my candy all gone, I've been eating more to get bigger, but no junk food. On Wednesday, however, I had a bowl of ice cream as a snack. Last night I cooked dinner for my family, which never happens unless I'm told to. I was so motivated maybe, because I thought I did so well in the workout that day. I made pasta with red sauce and meat in it and broccoli. I got compliments on how good everything was. I have noticed physical changes in my body since last week. My chest, arms, and shoulder muscles all seem bigger. As for mental changes, I haven't noticed anything new. I think about our workouts everyday, especially when I look in the mirror to see if my body has changed. Another thing I noticed was that, I am no longer sore after we do our workouts. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, but I kind of enjoy being sore, because it makes me feel like I did more.

My sleep this past week has not been as good as the weeks before. I've had a lot on my mind with school and friends, which kept me up.My nutrition has slacked this week, which is probably why my body fat percentage went up. I still have a lot of snacks and candy from before I started this class, and I'm trying to eat it all, because wasting things is a big pet peeve of mine. Hopefully when I finish it all everything will shift back into the right direction. My drinking habits haven't changed either. I have still been drinking 2 water bottles every day I have strength training and drink a glass of orange most mornings. I haven't noticed much difference in my body this week which is disappointing. I've felt kinda weak most of the week, because I developed cold symptoms after Mondays workout. This isn't the first time this has happened either. About a month ago the same thing happened. After a workout my throat was sore from breathing and then the next morning I had a runny nose. And then the next 3-4 days I still had the runny nose. I wish I knew why that happened and how to prevent it. My mental skills have continued to improve. My test grades are getting better, I have more motivation to study, and I've been more confident an my answers on tests. I still look forward to these classes as much as I have been. Except now I've become more interested in the health aspects to and eating right. Another thing I've noticed is that I'm sore less after workouts, which is great for more, because I have extra energy to do other things I want.

My sleep has not changed much since last week, except for the fact that I have been dreaming less. I haven't been waking up in the middle of the night except to change my position. My hydration hasn't changed much since last week either. But I did change the kind of orange juice I drink in the morning to a healthier kind. Besides orange juice I have just been drinking water. As much as I can and even at work I drink half a glass every time I pass my glass. My nutrition has improved as well. I've been eating protein and carbs always together an have avoided sugar. Every now and then I feel as though I deserve and have earned a treat. Last night I had a cookie from my work. And yesterday was also Pi day at school and I couldn't help but have a slice. I continue to eat hard boiled eggs everyday when I get home from school as well. I've noticed my arms get bigger and also my abs. I feel straighter, taller and all-around better when I walk. I feel so light and focused on my surroundings. My academic work has also gotten better. Sometimes during 4th block I'm fighting to stay awake, but now I'm totally focused. I feel smarter and my vocabulary is continually growing. I always look forward to workouts even if I'd rather play a game. I am always looking for that opportunity to improve and push myself. The only time I don't think about workouts is probably right after they happen. In the pictures I have been taking I am noticing positive changes and I wish I could fast-forward to the end result to see my full change.

Body fat percentage: 13.3%

My sleeping has improved since last week. I am sleeping harder and I am also dreaming more. My drinking habits haven't really changed at all, I am still only drinking water throughout the day. However, I have been eating a lot healthier. I've cut out all snacks and all sugary foods. I've been eating lots of eggs in the morning and I've started my own bowl of hard-boiled eggs to eat before I go to work. I have noticed a lot of change in my core. It has become more defined. I have noticed mental changes as well. I'm not as sleepy during my classes anymore and I've been more involved in my school work. I always look forward to the next workout and the chance to get closer with the class. The class is perfect size, just big enough for everyone to know each other. There is always a positive vibe wherever and whatever we are doing. For the past week I also noticed that I've been talking more intelligently. My vocabulary has become bigger and it is very useful. If this is only week 2 I can't imagine how I'm gonna feel when this class is over.

Body fat percent: 10.6%

This week I have noticed that I have been sleeping a lot better, I rarely wake up in the night anymore. I always look forward to sleeping when I'm sore, because it feels great. Since I've been in this class I feel like my nutrition has been decreasing. After a workout I feel so accomplished and I feel I deserve a treat, so I usually get a cookie or eat ice cream at home. That's a habit I want to break. I drink almost 3 bottles of water everyday that I have strength training, and it makes a huge different physically and mentally. Water has become my new favorite drink; to me nothing else can compare to its taste. I try to eat a lot of protein and I'm pretty good when it comes to eating portion wise. I occasional get a sweet tooth and eat chocolate, cookies, candy or ice cream. I have noticed a huge physical change since this class started. My pecks have gotten bigger, my abs have become more defined, and my arms have also gotten bigger. I feel a lot happier in school and in general. I have had more motivation for school work and my grades have gone up. Every time I get into the situation that may lead to a bad food choice I always think back to this class and how it will effect me in the next workout. If I end up making the wrong choice I feel guilty but I'll always make up for it later with push-ups or sit-ups and that helps me feel less guilty. This class has inspired me more than any other class ever had, and it is very important to me. When I grow up I want to be personal trainer to help people lose weight. This class has been a great experience and I know it will continue to be.
