Body fat: 12.3%
Weight: 148.5

This week I haven't noticed any changes in my sleep patterns, except that some mornings I wake up with a headache but now they are occurring less frequently. My hydration has been excellent this week. I've drank nothing but water and orange juice. The only down side to drinking as much water as I do is that I need to use the bathroom more than usual. My nutrition is improving also. With my candy all gone, I've been eating more to get bigger, but no junk food. On Wednesday, however, I had a bowl of ice cream as a snack. Last night I cooked dinner for my family, which never happens unless I'm told to. I was so motivated maybe, because I thought I did so well in the workout that day. I made pasta with red sauce and meat in it and broccoli. I got compliments on how good everything was. I have noticed physical changes in my body since last week. My chest, arms, and shoulder muscles all seem bigger. As for mental changes, I haven't noticed anything new. I think about our workouts everyday, especially when I look in the mirror to see if my body has changed. Another thing I noticed was that, I am no longer sore after we do our workouts. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing, but I kind of enjoy being sore, because it makes me feel like I did more.

Body fat: 11.2%
Weight: 145.2 lb

My sleep this past week has not been as good as the weeks before. I've had a lot on my mind with school and friends, which kept me up.My nutrition has slacked this week, which is probably why my body fat percentage went up. I still have a lot of snacks and candy from before I started this class, and I'm trying to eat it all, because wasting things is a big pet peeve of mine. Hopefully when I finish it all everything will shift back into the right direction. My drinking habits haven't changed either. I have still been drinking 2 water bottles every day I have strength training and drink a glass of orange most mornings. I haven't noticed much difference in my body this week which is disappointing. I've felt kinda weak most of the week, because I developed cold symptoms after Mondays workout. This isn't the first time this has happened either. About a month ago the same thing happened. After a workout my throat was sore from breathing and then the next morning I had a runny nose. And then the next 3-4 days I still had the runny nose. I wish I knew why that happened and how to prevent it. My mental skills have continued to improve. My test grades are getting better, I have more motivation to study, and I've been more confident an my answers on tests. I still look forward to these classes as much as I have been. Except now I've become more interested in the health aspects to and eating right. Another thing I've noticed is that I'm sore less after workouts, which is great for more, because I have extra energy to do other things I want.

Body fat percentage: 10.2%

My sleep has not changed much since last week, except for the fact that I have been dreaming less. I haven't been waking up in the middle of the night except to change my position. My hydration hasn't changed much since last week either. But I did change the kind of orange juice I drink in the morning to a healthier kind. Besides orange juice I have just been drinking water. As much as I can and even at work I drink half a glass every time I pass my glass. My nutrition has improved as well. I've been eating protein and carbs always together an have avoided sugar. Every now and then I feel as though I deserve and have earned a treat. Last night I had a cookie from my work. And yesterday was also Pi day at school and I couldn't help but have a slice. I continue to eat hard boiled eggs everyday when I get home from school as well. I've noticed my arms get bigger and also my abs. I feel straighter, taller and all-around better when I walk. I feel so light and focused on my surroundings. My academic work has also gotten better. Sometimes during 4th block I'm fighting to stay awake, but now I'm totally focused. I feel smarter and my vocabulary is continually growing. I always look forward to workouts even if I'd rather play a game. I am always looking for that opportunity to improve and push myself. The only time I don't think about workouts is probably right after they happen. In the pictures I have been taking I am noticing positive changes and I wish I could fast-forward to the end result to see my full change.

Body fat percentage: 13.3%
Weight: 147.8 lb

My sleeping has improved since last week. I am sleeping harder and I am also dreaming more. My drinking habits haven't really changed at all, I am still only drinking water throughout the day. However, I have been eating a lot healthier. I've cut out all snacks and all sugary foods. I've been eating lots of eggs in the morning and I've started my own bowl of hard-boiled eggs to eat before I go to work. I have noticed a lot of change in my core. It has become more defined. I have noticed mental changes as well. I'm not as sleepy during my classes anymore and I've been more involved in my school work. I always look forward to the next workout and the chance to get closer with the class. The class is perfect size, just big enough for everyone to know each other. There is always a positive vibe wherever and whatever we are doing. For the past week I also noticed that I've been talking more intelligently. My vocabulary has become bigger and it is very useful. If this is only week 2 I can't imagine how I'm gonna feel when this class is over.

This week I have noticed that I have been sleeping a lot better, I rarely wake up in the night anymore. I always look forward to sleeping when I'm sore, because it feels great. Since I've been in this class I feel like my nutrition has been decreasing. After a workout I feel so accomplished and I feel I deserve a treat, so I usually get a cookie or eat ice cream at home. That's a habit I want to break. I drink almost 3 bottles of water everyday that I have strength training, and it makes a huge different physically and mentally. Water has become my new favorite drink; to me nothing else can compare to its taste. I try to eat a lot of protein and I'm pretty good when it comes to eating portion wise. I occasional get a sweet tooth and eat chocolate, cookies, candy or ice cream. I have noticed a huge physical change since this class started. My pecks have gotten bigger, my abs have become more defined, and my arms have also gotten bigger. I feel a lot happier in school and in general. I have had more motivation for school work and my grades have gone up. Every time I get into the situation that may lead to a bad food choice I always think back to this class and how it will effect me in the next workout. If I end up making the wrong choice I feel guilty but I'll always make up for it later with push-ups or sit-ups and that helps me feel less guilty. This class has inspired me more than any other class ever had, and it is very important to me. When I grow up I want to be personal trainer to help people lose weight. This class has been a great experience and I know it will continue to be.
